Teresa has managed P&Ls in the financial services industry greater than $250 million in revenue, resulting in highly profitable revenue generation along with risk and expense management for various institutions including Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
Teresa’s significant banking experience makes her an expert in financial analysis in public and private sectors. She has led teams in lending billions to corporations in the US and abroad.
Teresa’s career is defined by a rare blend of financial expertise, P&L leadership, and a profound commitment to community and ethical governance, making her a respected figure in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. Teresa has played an integral role on several prominent non-profit boards, including the MIT Leadership Center Advisory Board, the University of Tampa Board of Trustees, and the Tampa Museum of Art Foundation Board.
Teresa holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she also earned a Sustainability Certification, reflecting her commitment to responsible business practices. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida.
Fluent in Spanish, Teresa draws on her multicultural upbringing and extensive network to advocate for diverse representation in corporate governance. She is also a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association.
She is an active mentor to emerging professionals and devotes her leisure time to global travel and philanthropic endeavors, including her founding role and Chairman of Voices for Children of Tampa Bay, an organization dedicated to supporting abused and neglected children. Teresa resides in Tampa, Florida.
